If your physician does not have admitting privileges, our Medical Director or other attending physician will be happy to oversee your care while you are staying with us. Dr. Durant, a medical doctor with Theoria Medical, joined The Laurels of Walden Park as medical director in July 2021.
Dr. Durant is board certified in family medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Langston University, where she majored in biology and minored in chemistry, and then went on to obtain her
doctorate from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her medical residency in family medicine in 2014 and began practicing ambulatory and primary care medicine in Odessa, Texas. From there, she went on to work in Dallas, Texas, before joining the team with Theoria Medical and relocating to Ohio.
Dr. Miller received his medical degree from The Ohio State University and performed his residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine (2005) and Hospice and Palliative Medicine (2012). He is a member of The Society for Post-Acute and Long Term Care Medicine and has been employed at MedOne Physicians since 2005. Dr. Miller is married and has 5 children and enjoys being part of exceeding expectations at The Laurels of Walden Park.
Dr. Banas is a board certified family physician in Columbus, Ohio. He is currently licensed to practice medicine in Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. He is affiliated with OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. Dr. Banas graduated from Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his residency with the Cleveland Clinic at Fairview Hospital and Fellowship Training: Adolescent Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center.
His special interests include: Academic Medicine, Adolescent Medicine, Eating Disorders, Men's Health, LGBTQ Healthcare, Diabetes, Preventive Medicine.
Dr. Forgue is director of the Laurels of Walden Park in-house Dialysis Program provided by American Renal Associates. He is a graduate from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Michigan Health System. Dr. Forgue is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is affiliated with Central Ohio Nephrology, Ohio Health, Mt. Carmel, and Licking Memorial hospital.
Rakesh Vadde, MD, FCCP pursued his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Davangere, India and completed his pulmonary medicine fellowship at Interfaith Medical Center in New York City.
In 2018, Dr. Vadde was recognized as “Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians” for his active role and continued dedication in advancing the fields of chest medicine and critical care where he continues to demonstrate excellence, dedication, and leadership.
